Hello! My name is Liria and I have a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of British Columbia. I began tutoring Math, Science, English and Social Studies for students in grades eight to twelve during my undergraduate degree. I am familiar with both Alberta's and British Columbia's curriculums. I believe that students can simply require guidance in one area, to gain enough confidence to take control of their own learning. This results in an improvement in all subjects and can help students become life long learners. In my experience, the most important skills students can learn are dedication, discipline, organization and problem-solving skills, far more than subject specific skills.
