Hello all! My name is Amy Kearl. I am currently studying education at the University of Calgary and can't wait to graduate next and start my career as a teacher. In the mean time I'm excited at the prospect of working with students one-on-one as a tutor and helping them find joy in their own individual learning process and progress. Before pursuing my undergrad I had the opportunity to volunteer as an English teacher and as an educational aid in Canada, Lithuania, and Japan. I also have lots of experience with children of all ages and abilities as I have worked as a nanny and an aid for many different families over the last 5 years to support myself while still volunteering and going to school. In my spare time I love playing guitar, being outside hiking, rock climbing, creating art (specifically linocut printing and stamp making), and drinking hot chocolate. I look forward to getting to know you too!
