Hello, I am an 18 year old student entering my second year of the Bachelors of Science program at Grant MacEwan university. I am fortunate enough to have academically excelled in all my subjects throughout my life and gained a lot of my tutoring experience by teaching my peers and younger sister concepts they didn't understand or were having a difficult time with. I started some professional (paid) tutoring in high school/university and I would love to continue to pass on that knowledge to students who need help with their studies so that they can also pass with flying colours! My favourite sports to watch/play include Cricket, Badminton and Basketball (especially the Raptors)! In my spare time from school, I work as a part-time cashier, spend time with my kitten and volunteer at a couple of different organizations, including reading buddies at EPL, PCAE, and the Edmonton/SAMU Food banks (hopefully clinical as well starting January). My personal favourite teaching methods include active recall, flow charts/diagrams and breaking down larger problem areas into smaller topics that are easier to tackle.
