I am a professional educator currently employed by a primary school and have over two years of experience in teaching environments. My university background and work in research has given me a knack for breaking down complicated concepts for ease of explanation. In the Tutortag community I work with families whose need for tutoring aligns with my interests, experience and academic background. I have over 2 years experience tutoring youth, usually at the public library or with the youth at their home with family present & wholly committed to the success of their kids. Prior families who connected with me have found me to be personable, reliable and easy to talk to. I am someone who will believe in your kids success. I will act to collaborate with you to address any of the problems that are standing in the way of your kids success at school or for a specific class. Oftentimes you will have a really smart kid but certain aspects might be conspiring to make them feel inadequate or lack the belief in themselves. Lack of belief can lead to poor academic performance, changes in behaviour, attitude and personality.
