Hello! My name is Lucy H. I have tutored elementary school age children for 2 years, under the non-for profit organization Equalearn. I am a long time piano player, cross country runner, and lover of physics and chemistry. I also have had years of experience with children aged 3 to 12 through summer camps and reading programs. I teach children at the pace they require and always build a strong fundamental base of knowledge before tackling harder problems. I am an IB Diploma Student at Sir Winston Churchill. I have finished Mathematics 30-1, Mathematics 31 (Calculus) and Physics 30 with final marks of 95. I am knowledgeable about the recent 2018 diploma style questions. Alongside the Alberta Curriculum, I am also learning the IB Curriculum, so I will be able to tutor those who are also in the IB program who will be taking their IB exams in Mathematics and Physics. Tutoring allows me to spread the knowledge I have learned and inspire the future generation to love learning. I look forward to tutoring your child!
