I am a certified Alberta teacher, specializing in English Language Arts (Honors) with a focus on Secondary Education (Grades 7-12). I have over 10+ years of teaching/tutoring experience in Calgary, and internationally. I have TESL (ELL) training, and am happy to help new immigrants and people of diverse backgrounds. My purpose is to help you succeed at reaching your goals, with patience, open-mindedness, and compassion. My teaching style is calm, relaxed, and encouraging of your innate strengths. I will provide you with resources and tools that will help you succeed long term, by applying growth mindset strategies. I am passionate about the Creative Arts; literature, cinema, writing, photography, and dance. I have many interests and am a lifelong learner myself. I graduated with Honors (3.9+ GPA) in all my degrees, and received 100% on my English Diploma Exam in Grade 12. I love teaching because I get to meet interesting people, and find this teaching extremely fulfilling.
