After being a student for over two decades, I am interested in taking steps towards switching for the student role to the teacher role. While contemplating pursuing a Bachelor of Education degree, I feel this will be a worthwhile opportunity for me to further develop my teaching skills, as well as help reduce the financial burden of my current studies. I absolutely love education and learning and am dedicated to my own learning as well as inspiring and helping others learn. While completing my Bachelor of Science degree I worked for one semester as a Demonstrator/Marker for an Introduction to Physical Geography course. I felt a lot of pride and value from helping others understand the material and achieve their goals. I also volunteer with a geoscience education outreach organization called Earth Science for Society. In addition to volunteering in various roles at their yearly exhibitions, I have taken on a greater role with the In Motion subcommittee. I led the development for the "Explore Space" booth which debuted during Science Literacy Week in partnership with Calgary Public Libraries. My commitment to teaching, inspiring, and encouraging the next generation of STEM professionals make me a great choice for your tutoring needs!
