How We Rate New Online Casinos

Every ranking on TutorTag comes out of one scoring model. This is that model in full: the five criteria, the weight each carries, and how we test a brand-new casino with real money before it earns a place.

The short version

One Score, Five Weighted Criteria

We grade each casino from zero to ten on five criteria, then weight those grades into a single score. The weights are fixed in advance and applied identically to every brand, so the order you see is the model running, not an opinion. Bonus value and payout speed carry the most weight because they are what a new-casino player feels first, and what operators most often overstate.

Commission is not one of the inputs. We fill in the grades from test data before checking what a brand pays us, and the score is locked before the ranking publishes. A high-paying partner that fails the payout test sits below a brand that clears in a day.

  • Welcome-bonus value - 30%. The real worth of the offer after wagering, max-bet caps, game weighting and expiry, plus any no-deposit or free-spin extra. A clean, low-rollover bonus beats a huge locked one.
  • Tested payout speed - 25%. Median time from cashout request to funds in hand, timed on a real deposit-and-withdrawal on each rail. Crypto is weighted highest because it is what actually pays.
  • Trust & licence - 20%. Curaçao licence, operating history or network backing, dispute handling, and whether terms and limits are honoured rather than just published.
  • Banking & cashout - 15%. Coin and card coverage, deposit minimums, withdrawal limits and fees, and how reliably the cashier releases a first withdrawal.
  • Games & mobile UX - 10%. Breadth of the RTG and Betsoft library and how the lobby and cashier hold up on a phone.

What our payout figures are

The cash-out time on every card is a figure we measured. We fund a real account, clear the play-through, request a withdrawal on each supported rail and log how long it takes. Where a brand shares a cashier and network with others we test - as the Legend-network sites do - we apply the figure our test data supports for that rail. On crypto the network brands clear in one to three days; cards are slower and less reliable everywhere, so Bitcoin is the rail we recommend.

How often we re-check

New casinos change fast - bonuses rotate, ownership shifts, terms tighten. Listings are re-checked regularly and re-tested whenever a site changes its banking or promotions. If a casino slows down or adds a pending period, its ranking drops and we say so. Reader payout reports sent through our Contact page feed straight into these reviews.

Independence

No casino can pay to rank higher, and a commercial relationship never moves a score. TutorTag earns commission when readers sign up through our links, at no cost to them, which keeps the site free. Recommendations are for adults 21 and over; see Responsible Gambling.
