A patient mentor who benefited from tutoring himself in High School. I prefer to tutor in a conversational style, going through subject-matter systematically in a dialogue. I request prospective tutors supply their school-supplied materials rather than my provision of auxiliary worksheets. From my own experience, it's important to understand the root cause of why tutoring is necessary and not to just pile-on additional work to no avail.
