Hello, my name is Jesse and I have a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Saskatchewan. I moved to Calgary to find better opportunities for myself, as I found the life possibilities of a small city like Saskatoon were limited. I enjoy hobbies such as cooking, reading, archery, axe throwing, learning to play guitar, video games, and hiking/camping. I am passionate about helping people to become better versions of themselves through education and experience. Back in Saskatoon, I worked in a museum that gave guided tours and immersive experience that educated people of all ages in local history. Additionally, I have previously worked in a camp near Rocky Mountain House that provided unique outdoor skills education and experiences primarily to kids age 12-17, but also to any other groups that booked with us. For high school/university age students, my skill sets lie primarily in writing, specifically where essays are involved. Researching, writing, and structuring a well-informed argument is what my degree is centered on. I can point you in the direction of resources and databases that can assist you in information gathering for your papers. I can help you develop skills in time management and study habit that reduce the stress of your semester. Whether it be history or English, I am confident that my skill sets can assist you in improving your strengths as a writer in terms of grammar, sentence structure, and presenting a well thought-through argument in your paper.
