My name is Olivia N. and I am currently working towards my degree in Elementary Education at Mount Royal University, with a Elementary Mathematics minor. As a tutor and future educator my goal is to inspire and motivate my students to grow to their fullest potential. Another goal of mine is to be able to foster an environment where students are constantly engaged and critically thinking on their work. In order to achieve this I will create lesson plans and goals that are relevant to students' personal lives, so they are able to connect their learning to what they already know and find interesting. Ultimately I want to be a positive influence in their lives, and provide them with a safe, comfortable environment to be themselves and flourish in their learning. I have teaching experience in Kindergarten to Grade 6 as well as tutoring experience. I am very familiar with the Alberta curriculum and feel confident that I can help support many learners meet their goals. As well, I am aware all students are unique, with different learning needs and styles. I have many resources and knowledge on how to provide support to a diverse group of students. I look forward to meeting your child and I know together we can help them thrive.
