I am a committed and patient teacher with a great passion and natural flair for teaching. My focused explanations of all topics and themes in English, Social Studies, Maths, Business Studies, etc. have always resulted in satisfied and happy students. I have taught multiple curriculums to multi- levels, internationally. These are, the British, American and Ontario curricula, and I have taught ESL, English Language and Literature, IELTS, TOEFL, SAT 1 and Core English. Side by side, in the evenings, I tutored students of all ages and taught all subjects up till grade 8, but only English to senior school and college students. I have taught students in groups, pairs, and also individual students. My approach, generally, is to identify what a student needs, and then to use the most suitable strategy to target that particular weakness. Therefore, I like to check with the students about the learning style(s) that suits them best. Also, I prefer using motivation to encourage creativity, and my students respond very favorably to this method. My sensitivity to students’ facial and body language, most importantly, keeps me aware of their learning needs, and my strong interpersonal skills enable me to connect easily with them. Currently, I am tutoring school and college students, doing English, Maths, Business Studies and IELTS. I also work as a Supply Instructor at a LINC school in Toronto. Moreover, I have also been scoring EQAO English exams. I am OCT, CELTA and TESL Ontario certified, with B.Ed. and Master’s in English. . . ,
