My name's Kristiana and I'm here for make some difficult subjects like math and the sciences something more tangible and understandable for anyone - whether they're looking to go into Engineering and want a strong base or just want to excel in the subject they're in right now, I have a background in Civil Engineering and have recently changed into the Education program, so I am both very passionate about Math and Physics as well as facilitating the journey towards a comprehensive and and in depth understanding of the material. My teaching style can be one of two different styles in my approach to tutoring. If you struggle more with the concepts, we can focus more heavily on that - using examples to help illustrate those concepts. Alternatively, if you're the type of learner who learns more by practicing, I can walk you through more examples and implement the theory while working through those questions. There are different types of learners and I can work with them all - you just tell me what works best for you and I'll tailor my teaching style to best help your genius! Teaching is a great passion of mine and I love to see the spark of understanding and the zone that an individual can get into when engaged properly. I believe in the connection between all subjects and our every day lives and don't want anyone to feel like just because they don't have the "talent" of understanding a certain subject immediately that they can't excel in that field. Everything is learn-able! I believe that a fixed mindset is one that can be changed and I have and hope to help you break down those difficult concepts into their simpler, logical, and understandable parts.
